William L. "Bill" Webb, 68, of Tifton died Sunday, October 5, 2008, at his residence. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 9, 2008, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Webb was born on March 25, 1940 in Adel and was the son of Lester Stone of Lenox and the late Lucille Stone. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Hayes Webb; one brother and one sister. He was a retired mechanic and of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and had lived in Tifton for 43 years.
Mr. Webb is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Harlan and Cindy Lovett of Tifton, Harlo and Tammy Lovett of Tifton and Mike and Shauna Webb of Tifton; five brothers, 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and personal friends, Rusty Garren and the Garren family.
