TEWKSBURY - Lia Marie DiFronzo, age 8, the beloved daughter of Laura (Pringle) and Americo "Rick" DiFronzo, died early Monday morning, October 6, at Children's Hospital in Boston, after a courageous two and a half year battle with Leukemia. She was a student at the Louise Davy Trahan School in Tewksbury.
Besides her parents, she leaves her brother, Americo R. "Rico" DiFronzo of Tewksbury; maternal grandparents, Douglas and Denyse (Nadeau) Pringle of Sebastian, FL and Highgate Springs, VT; paternal grandparents, Anna (Iacozzi) DiFronzo of Medford and the late Americo R. DiFronzo; paternal aunts and uncles, Constance and Federico Cieri of Medford, Christine and Thomas Kelly of Acton, Andrea Mauras of Saugus, Richard and Tracy DiFronzo of East Boston; maternal aunts and uncles, Lynda Brooks of St. Albans, VT, Bruce and Kirsten Pringle of Winooski, VT, Leslie and Raymond St. Pierre of Colchester, VT, Joanne and Stephen Hubbard of Raleigh, N.C.; many great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, Oct. 10, in St. Dorothy's Church, Wilmington. Burial followed at St. Mary Cemetery, No. Tewksbury. Memorials to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, Floor 6, Brookline, MA 02445-7226 or jimmyfund.org will be appreciated.
