Obituary

Leonard S. “Leo” Guange, 81, passed away at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on October 5th, 2008. He was born in Boston on October 21st, 1926 to his parents Pasquale and Mary (Abate) Guange. Leo has been a resident of Malden for several years. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an office supply manager at the Boston City Hospital for many years. During World War 2, Leo served honorably in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Carol A. (Saccoccio) Guange of Malden; his children Cynthia DeLosReyes and her husband Roland of California, Leonard S. Guange Jr. of Saugus and Anthony Guange and his wife Laurie of Malden; his grandchildren Jacqui, Amanda, Alicia and Christopher; his sister Concetta Petruzziello of Revere; and by his sister-in-law Domenica Saccoccio of Stoneham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Thursday October 9th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday October 8th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund Tribute Program, 1 Harvard St., Brookline, MA 02146.
