Arthur Rose, 78, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. Arthur was born in Pawtucket, RI on January 24, 1930, a son of the late Virgilio and Cecilia Marie (Tarres) Rose, and was a resident of Derry for the past 35 years, formerly living in Merrimack, NH. Arthur was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Arthur is survived by his two sons, Christopher P. Rose of Nashua, NH, and Robert A. Rose of El Segundo, CA; his two daughters, Victoria A. Carter of Derry, and Marianne C. O'Neill of Lyndeborough, NH; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Arthur was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy R. (Briere) Rose on May 10, 2008.
There are no calling hours. Private burial will be in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
