TEWKSBURY - Bertha Saber, age 90, a resident of the community for more than six decades, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, at her home. She was the wife of the late William T. Saber, who died in 1971.
She was born on September 1, 1918, in New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of the late Walter and Jennie (White) Rynhart. She was raised in Chelsea, Mass., and moved to Tewksbury in 1945.
She devoted her life to the care of her family, and was also described as having loved to sew.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William P. Saber and his wife Jean (Bjork) of New Hampton, NH, Walter J. Saber and his wife Carol (Southmayd) of Tewksbury; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen L. Rogers and her husband Joseph of Tewksbury, and Nancy L. Rhodes and her husband Brian of Tewksbury; a sister, Peggy Townsend of North Andver; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Frank, Donald, Leona, and Walter Rynhart, and Evelyn Martin.

At her request, funeral services were private. Memorials to the M.S.P.C.A., Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844, will be appreciated.
