Dorothy E. Lawrence, of Andover and beloved wife of the late Harold P. Lawrence, died at her home in Andover on Sunday evening, September 28, 2008. She was 91 years old.
Dorothy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 15, 1917. She was a graduate of Overlook High School in Philadelphia, class of 1935. She also served in the US Navy.
She will be sorely missed by on daughter and one son-in-law; Linda and her husband John Iuliucci of Andover, one son and one daughter-in-law; Richard and his wife Gloria Lawrence of Greensboro, North Carolina, six grandchildren; Michele and her husband Brian Marquis of Bradford, Marianne Iuliucci of Andover, Louis Iuliucci of Andover, Stephanie and her husband John Farley of Durham, North Carolina, Gretchen Lawrence of Philadelphia and Victoria Lawrence of Arlington, Virginia, four great-grandchildren; Caitlyn and Owen Lawrence and Emily and Brendan Marquis and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Thursday, October 2, 2008, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. For additional information, please visit www.burkemagliozzi.com.
