Janet T. (Thornton) Halladay, of Portsmouth Rhode Island, passed away on Tuesday September 30, 2008. She was 77 years old.
Born in Winchester, Janet was the daughter of the late John F. Thornton and Grace (Matthews) Halladay. Janet was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Janet was the wife of Maurice E. Halladay. She was the loving mother of John T. Halladay of Cedar Creek Texas and Mary M. Rogers of Portland Oregon. She was the beloved grandmother of 4 and the dear sister of Joyce T. Holt of Reading.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating Janet’s Life will be held on Friday October 3, 3008 at St. Patrick’s Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham.
