SANDOWN - Mrs. Beverly A. (Bennett) Coombs, 71 of Sandown, NH died suddenly on Sunday, September 28, 2008.
“Take time to smell the roses.”
Beverly will live on in the hearts she leaves behind through the memory of her great love of family, generosity, laughter and wit.
Beverly was born on July 13, 1937 in Woburn Mass, the oldest daughter of Joel T. and Helen E. (Nichols) Bennett. She graduated from Wilmington High School. Through 50 years of marriage, Beverly honed her trade – that of loving and devoted wife and mother.
Her passion for family only grew with the title “Gram, Grandma and Grammy.”
She will be remembered with every changing season, as will the excitement that she always kindled within all of us through the years to stay close and stand strong. We’ll smile when we hear some unsuspecting soul say “it’s on the hoosie-ma-jigger or the what-cha-ma-call-it.”
Beverly leaves her loving husband of 50 years, Thomas J. Coombs of Sandown, two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Lenore Coombs of Manchester, Douglas and Rachel Coombs of Derry, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryn and Robert Lee of Londonderry, Deborah and Robert Zukas of Plaistow, grandchildren, Michelle Thomas, Keith Lee, Justin Lee, Ryan Coombs, Jason Coombs, Rachel Coombs, Kyle Coombs, Tyler Coombs, Thomas Zukas and Tiffany Zukas, 5 great grandchildren, 4 sisters, Joan Guidoboni, Nancy Ball, Cheryl Lannon, Helen (Betty) Bennett and 1 brother, Joel Bennett, 1 brother-in-law James and his wife Beverly of Plaistow and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
