Eugene Crawford, 83, of North Charleston, died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Mt. Pleasant Manor.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 2:00PM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel in Summerville. Burial will be in Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville.
Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1 - 2:00PM.

Mr. Crawford was born June 11, 1925 in Nicholas County, Kentucky, a son of the late Edward Crawford and Pearl Singer Crawford.
He attended Nicholas County schools. He was a retired mechanic supervisor with Central Concrete. He served in the Navy during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Crawford.
Surviving are:
4 sons: Dennis Crawford, Randall Crawford, David Crawford and Kenneth Crawford, all of Michigan.
5 daughters: Leslie Bates of Michigan, Janice Constantinides of Chicago, IL, Jeanette Blankenship of Summerville, SC, Bridget Sleppy of Minot, ND and Brenda DeVall of North Charleston, SC.
