Obituary


Loretta M. Saulnier, of Brockton, formerly of Boston and Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday September 24, 2008 in The Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was 90 years old.

Born September 17, 1918 in Nova Scotia, Canada she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Leonie ( Theriault ) Saulnier. She attended and was a graduate of East Boston High School. She was employed in the laundry services department at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for over forty years.

Her survivors include, a brother Edward Doucette of Brockton, a brother – in – law Joseph P. Riley of Stoughton, nieces Barbara Killgoar of Livonia, Michigan, Jean Cassidy of Bridgewater and nephews Joseph Riley of Sandwich, Kevin Riley of East Bridgewater and Paul Riley of Halifax.

A funeral mass of Christian burial for the repose of her soul will be held on Tuesday September 30, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, ( Rt. 27), Stoughton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral mass from 9 – 10 AM in The Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one’s choice in Loretta’s memory, would be appreciated.
