Lawrence, MA – Lucille R. DiZoglio, 91, died Friday at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lawrence, November 8, 1916 daughter of Vitale and Aurore (Ouellette) Ouellette. She graduated from Lawrence High School.
Mrs. DiZoglio was a homemaker and mother of five who enjoyed cooking, sewing, and entertaining.
She was a longtime attendant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish.
According to her family the love of her life besides her late husband Louis were her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchldren.
The widow of Louis DiZoglio former owner of DiZoglio Painters, Inc. she is survived by daughters Barbara and husband William Catineau of Ft. Myers, FL.,Carol McKeon of Amesbury, MA., Jacqueline Cronin of Tampa, FL., and Donna and husband Michael Holmes of Westford, MA. one son James and his wife Donna DiZoglio of Methuen, sisters Irene Griffin, and Lorraine Cooper of Venice, FL., brothers Robert and Ronald Ouellette of Methuen, Leo and wife Terry of Barefoot Bay, FL. Brother and sister-inlaw’s John, Fred, and Joseph, and their wives Ellie, Lucille, and Helen DiZoglio.
13 grandchildren, 28 greatgrandchildren, and 32 nieces and nephews.
Lucille was pre-deceased by sisters Cecile and Anita, and brothers Armand, Albert, and Rene Ouellette.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Theresa Church 22 Plymouth St. Methuen, Ma. with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street Methuen.
