George E. Gagnon Sr. 63, of Florida Ave, Bellingham, passed away Thursday at home. He was the husband of Suzanne (Labonte) Gagnon. He was born in Bellingham, a son of the late Albert and Laura (Provencher) Gagnon. Though he was born in Bellingham and had been a resident of that town for the last ten years, he was also a Millville resident for many years serving as the town’s animal control officer. Mr. Gagnon was also the owner/operator of Wildwood Kennels in Millville.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons; George Gagnon Jr. of Douglas, MA, Michael Gagnon of Rochester, NH, a daughter Robin Marvelle of Blackstone, two brothers, Roger Gagnon of Bellingham, and Leo Gagnon of Douglas, two sisters Lucille Robidoux of Bellingham, and Shirley Frappier of Blackstone, and six grandchildren. Mr. Gagnon was also the father of the late Michelle Kathleen Gagnon.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Augustine’s Church, Lincoln St., Millville. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday 5-8pm.
