AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mr. Harry Davis, of Clark St., Augusta, GA, beloved husband of Mrs. Deloris McKnight Davis, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Veterans Administrative Hospital.
A memorial services with military honors will be held at Bible Deliverance Temple on Friday, September 26, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. with Dr. H.K. McKnight and Dr. Kelly McKnight officiating.
Additional survivors include two sons, Barry B. Davis and Chris Davis both of Grovetown, GA.; a step-son, Frankie Reid and wife, Pam; two step-daughters, Maryann Burckhalter and husband, Kenny and Darlene Langley all of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Barry Davis, Jr., Lauren Ashley Davis and Taylor Davis; four step-grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his first wife the late Mrs. Marion Palmer Davis.
A native of Jenkins Co., GA. Mr. Davis was a member of Bible Deliverance Temple. He was Owner of Harrisburg Bait and Tackle and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
