Theresa A. (Laurenza) Bernard, 69, of Sunset Ave., Derry, NH died Monday, April 7, 2003, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. She was born in Lawrence, MA on September 16, 1933, a daughter of the late Carmine and Agnes (Tomasina) Laurenza. She was a resident of Derry for the past 20 years, formerly living in Lawrence. She attended Lawrence public schools. Mrs. Bernard devoted her life to her children and grandchildren and was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by five sons, Robert (his wife Hydee) Bernard, Richard (his fiance’ Sherry) Bernard, Mark Bernard, Lee (his wife Paula) Bernard, Gary (his wife Andrea) Bernard with whom she made her home, all of Derry, two daughters, Mrs. Mark (Terrilynne) Feeney, Mrs. David (Dawn) Beauchesne, both of Derry, 19 grandchildren, one brother, James Laurenza of N. Reading, MA, one sister, Ernestine Bowser of Lawrence, MA, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 10th at 10:00 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Ave., Derry. The burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry on Wednesday from 4 – 8.
