Obituary

Chad Stephen Hirtle, loving and devoted Father, Husband, Brother, and Son of East Bridgewater, died suddenly on Sept. 23. He was age 35. Chad was born in Boston and attended East Bridgewater Schools. He graduated from New England Tech of RI with a degree in HVAC. Chad had worked for Pierce Refrigeration of West Bridgewater for over 16 years. Chad had a passion for fishing and was a member of the Standish Sportsman's Club. Chad is survived by his loving wife Barbara "Reba" (Edwards) Hirtle of East Bridgewater. Devoted and loving father of Aaundrea, Chad, and Zachary all of East Bridgewater. Loving son of Harry H. and Gina (Brown) Hirtle of East Bridgewater. Brother of Chris and Stephen Hirtle both of Brockton. Proud grandson of James Brown of West Bridgewater and the late Dorothy Brown, Randall Hirtle, and Pearl Hirtle. Son in law of Raymond and Linda Edwards of East Bridgewater Brother in law to Alaina Richards of West Bridgewater and Raymond and Tara Edwards of Wareham. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Funeral Sat. Sept. 27 at St. John Church, East Bridgewater at 11:00am. Visiting hours Fri. from 4-8 pm at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home (Formerly Prophett's), 98 Bedford St. (Rt 18), Bridgewater, MA. Interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations for his children's education may be sent to the Chad Hirtle Memorial Scholarship Fund, PO BOX 445, East Bridgewater, MA 02333. Chad will be remembered for his generosity, big heart, love of his family, and fishing.
