Obituary

Frank J. Lobisser, 84, of Medway, died Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of the late Rose (Damigella) Lobisser who passed away in 1988.

Born in Norwood on September 18, 1924, he was a son of the late Frank S. and Gladys M. (Balduf) Lobisser. Mr. Lobisser was a resident of Medway since 1952.

He was the owner of Rocky Hill Farm in Medway since 1952 when he started the dairy farm. Prior to the farm, he had worked at the former Holliston Foundry and the former Goodwill Shoe Shop in Holliston.

Mr. Lobisser was a member of the Farm Bureau.

He is survived by; his children, Gladys Griffin & her husband, Thomas of Bellingham, Joseph & his wife, Anthea of Medway, Frank & his wife, Jodi of Medway, Louise Jones & her husband, Richard of Bellingham, Cynthia Mullett & her husband, Ricky of Holliston, Walter & his wife, Alyson of Medway, John & his wife, Kathleen, of Bellingham, Cheryl King & her husband, Daniel of Hopedale, Kathleen Taranto of Westboro, Rose Scott & her husband, Charles of Milford, Richard & his wife, Kimberly of Medway, Marie Dmytryck & her husband, Harvey of Bellingham, Michael & his wife, Patricia of Medway, and Dawna Goddard & her husband, George of Bellingham.

He is also survived by his siblings, Frances Bouchard of Milford, Gladys Fernandes of Bellingham, Richard Lobisser & his wife, Grace of Milford, Barbara Bruce & her husband, John of Bellingham, Janet Cappellucci & her husband, Larry of Milford, Jean Gilpatrick and her husband, Lewis of Mendon & Walter Lobisser & his wife, Julie of Milford.

He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was brother of the late Helen Manoogian, Elizabeth Yost & Alice Maguire.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on Friday, September 26 at 10 a.m. at St. Brendan’s Church, 382 Hartford Ave. in North Bellingham. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Milford.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.
