Mrs. Beverly Ann (Brooks) Goldstein, beloved wife of Dr. Ralph H. Goldstein, of Medford, formerly of Lexington and Cambridge, died at her home on Saturday evening, September 20, 2008. She was 74 years old.
Beverly was a beloved daughter of the late Jos. Albert and Rosemarie (Tremblay) Brooks. She was a nurse for many years at Mass Eye & Ear in Boston and Cambridge Hospital. She was also employed by the Malden VNA, prior to her retirement. Mrs. Goldstein was the director for the Host Families Program for the Fletcher School for several years and also worked on many fundraisers for Tufts with her beloved husband, Ralph. She also was a member of the Mystic Players and always enjoyed performing on stage. In her spare time, Mrs. Goldstein loved to travel with her husband, especially to Europe and Cruises’ to the Caribbean. Beverly always told everyone that she hated the color yellow. Above all Beverly was a real family person, always enjoying time with her husband, children and grandson.
She will be very sorely missed by her beloved husband; Dr. Ralph H. Goldstein of Medford, loving daughter and son-in-law; Dana G. and her husband Lenny Schaeffer of Burlington, son; Damon G. Brooks of New York City, two brothers; Brian Brooks of Charlestown and Norman Brooks of New Hampshire, grandson; Nathan Schaeffer of Burlington, dear friend and caretaker; Roberta Limoli-Barufaldi of Medford and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Natalie Gaynor.
Visiting hours were held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Tuesday, from 4 to 8 PM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended.
