M. Louise (Shuttleworth) Baker, 75, of Seekonk died September 19, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the wife of Patrick J. Baker.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Robert and Maude (Hartley) Shuttleworth, she lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Seekonk in 2002. She had wintered in Orange City, FL for the last 20 years.
Mrs. Baker was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Seekonk.
She was a graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing, class of 1953. Mrs. Baker was formerly employed as a geriatric nurse for many years until retirement.
Survivors include her husband; 2 daughters, Karen Relihan and her husband Michael of New Bedford and Katy Blum and her husband Ron of Seekonk; 5 grandchildren, Shane, Paddy, Brady, Olivia and Gabrielle; many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Marie Ganson and Elizabeth Mosley.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 23rd at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Ave. (Rt. 44), Seekonk, MA. Visiting hours Monday, September 22nd from 4-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
