WORCESTER-Ecaterini (Notidis) Paloukas, 65, of Worcester, died Friday, September 19th in the St. Francis Home. She is survived by her daughter, Evangelia Paloukas of Riverside, RI; two brothers, Dimitrios Notidis of Worcester and Spyridon Notidis of Millbury; two sisters, Ele Notidis of Worcester and Genovefa Karamalingos of Scottsmore, FL; a nephew, 5 nieces, an aunt, uncles and cousins here and in Greece. Her son, Athanasios Paloukas died in 2001
She was born in Ionnina, Epiros, Greece the daughter of Athanasios and Athena (Drmos) Notidis and had worked as a seamstress for the former Newton Sportswear Company. Mrs. Paloukas was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral; and enjoyed time spent with her daughter and family, as well as playing cards and knitting.
The funeral is Tuesday, September 23rd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 10:00 AM in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, September 22nd from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
