Obituary

Thomas A. Giroux, 63, of Manchester died September 19, 2008 at Elliot Hospital after a brief courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Utica, NY on May 28, 1945, he was the son of Thomas and Doris (Pfluke) Giroux. He lived in New Hampshire many years.
During the Vietnam War he served in the US Marine Corps.
He worked at Kevlin Corporation in Methuen, MA for two years and Teradyne in Nashua, NH for 10 years. He had also owned and operated the machine shop Omega in Lawrence, MA.
Mr. Giroux was instrumental in the restoration of the Rollins School clock tower in Lawrence, MA. He was a member of the American Legion Post 79 and the Men of St. Joseph at St. Marie Church.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father.
IN HIS LIFE: The family includes his wife of five years, Junita (Sembiring) Giroux of Manchester; a son, Thomas Tarigan Giroux of Manchester; a sister, Terrie Arcuri and her husband, Russell of Utica, NY; an aunt and cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, September 22, 2008 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester, NH.
