Walter J. Gingrow, Sr., 83, of 229 Worcester Rd., died Thursday, Sept. 18 in River Terrace Healthcare Center in Lancaster.
He leaves his wife of 22 years, Joyce C. (Horne) Gingrow, 3 sons W.James Gingrow, Jr. of Milton-Freewater, Or., Gary and R.Greg Gingrow both of Austin, Tx., 3 daughters Lorre Anderson of Gloucester,Ma., Lynn Finnegan of Rockport, Ma. and Gail Johnson of Idaho Springs, Col., 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 brothers Lawrence and Robert Gingrow.
Mr. Gingrow was a dealer account manager for Ford Motor Credit Corp. in Westboro for 15 years, retiring in 1986.
Born in Gardiner, Me., son of Walter and Mabel M. (Giroux) Gingrow. Graduated from Gardiner High School and Ricker Junior College, Houlton, Me., former member of Gardiner Lodge of Elks. Served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy.
