Patricia Lorraine (Barry) Hunt of Andover and beloved wife of Norman W. Hunt, died at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on Wednesday morning, September 17, 2008. She was 76 years old.
Born in Malden, Massachusetts, on March 17, 1932, she was the beloved daughter of the late Elderic H. and Evangeline S. (Breau) Barry. Mrs. Hunt was a long time communicant of St. Augustine Church of Andover. Patricia married her loving husband, Norman, on February 14, 1953. In her spare time, she loved to dance with her beloved husband. Above all, she was a very devoted family person, especially to her loving children and grandchildren.
Besides her beloved husband, Norman, of more than 55 years, she will be very sorely missed by two sons; Joseph E. Hunt of Andover and Paul R. and his wife Carol Hunt of Lunenburg, one daughter; Susan and her husband Scott Crispin of Andover, five grandchildren; Joseph E. II, Susan L., Heather L. and Benjamin T. Hunt and Tyler P. Crispin, one brother; Eldric H. Barry, one sister; Katherine S. Young of Charlestown, N.H., cherished friend; Judith Pinkney of Andover and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Monday, September 22, 2008, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Sunday, September 21, 2008, from 4 to 8 PM. Burial was private.
