Dell Virginia Dunn Helms, 88, Clarksville, died Thursday, September 18, 2008, at Sterling House.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday at Memphis Funeral Home at Memphis Funeral Home.

Ms. Helms was born October 2, 1919 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Martin Matthew Dunn and Sidney Catherine Painter Dunn. She was a long time member of White's Station Church of Christ in Memphis, Tn. She graduated from George Peadbody College and taught high schol in Scott's Hill, TN and later retired as a teacher in Memphis. Survivors include a sister, Lois Dunn Gallivan and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Helms, brothers Lloyd, John and Franklin Painter, sisters Stella Innocenti, Anne Batson, Ethel Proctor, Ellie Hagewood, and Amy Crafton.
