Delton Franklin Gray, 44, of Enigma died Tuesday, September 16, 2008, in Camilla. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2008, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Jimmy Parker will officiate with burial to follow in Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. Ronnie Gray, Charles Gray, Lynn Scott, Louellen Parker, Kimsey Rutland, Rudolph Howell and Jackie Howell will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Reagin Bass, J. D. Lindsey, Robert Bayne, Al Kent, Chuck Duggan, Austin Swain, Calvin Swain and Chris McIntyre. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 19, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Gray was born on November 4, 1963 in Tift County and was the son of Delton Gray, deceased, and Addie Zell Herndon Gray of Tifton. He was a receiver at the Target Distribution Center and a member of Brookfield Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Linda Lee Crane Gray of Enigma; two brothers, Charles Gray of Cordele and Ronnie Gray of Cordele; and four sisters, Jackie Howell of Conyers, Etta Lynn Scott of Tifton, Louellen Parker of Sparks and Dianne Rutland of Richmond Hill.
