Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Norma (Ansell) Magoon. Devoted mother of Matthew R. Hughes of Winthrop. Cherished sister of George Paige of CO, and the late John Paige. Beloved cousin of Sandra Johnson of Australia, Wayne Magoon of Exeter, NH, and Pamela Racicot of Winthrop. Adored aunt of Jennifer Hanna of Winthrop, Devon Magoon of Exeter, NH, Geoffrey Hanna of Exeter, NH, Michael Magoon of Atlanta, and Christopher Johnson of Australia. Former wife of John A. Hughes of Swampscott. Dear friend of Sharon Slatt of Winthrop. A Memorial Visitation will take place on Sun, Sept. 21, from 12-2pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 2pm at the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be private.
