WORCESTER____Marinol Dolengiewicz, 90, of 29 Tahanto Rd., formerly of 85 Houghton St., died Thursday April 3 in UMASS - Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, 55 Lake Ave North.
His wife, Rose (Waterson) Dolengiewicz died in 1987.
He leaves a stepson, Robert Waterson of Navarre, Florida; nine grandchildren, including Catherine Troy of Worcester who was his caregiver and with whom he resided; nineteen grandchildren, including Timothy Troy and James Carey with whom he lived , two great great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. A daughter, Regina Bissnette of Claremont, Florida died in 1996. Another daughter, Lucille L. Lovell of Worcester died in 2000. A brother, Louie Dolengiewicz of Millbury died in 1999. He was born in Poland, son of John and Bronislaza (Stpsulkowski) Dolengiewicz and lived here for most of his life.
Mr. Dolengiewicz was a maintenance mechanic 60 years for White Cleaners and retired in 1997.He was graduated from Commerce High School.
Mr. Dolengiewicz was a former member of St. Stephens Church.He enjoyed sports including baseball and also enjoyed the lottery, sitting in the sun, his cat Christmas and his beer.
The funeral will be held on Monday April 7 at 10:30 a.m. in Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St. Entombment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday April 6 from 5 - 8 p.m.
