Thelma L. (Mosher) Poole, 83, of N. Dartmouth passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Hathaway Manor in New Bedford. She was wife of the late Raymond A. Poole.
Born in Westport, daughter of the late Clifton H. and Deborah C. (Bowen) Mosher, she was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth. She had been a greeter at Wal-Mart. Mrs. Poole was a member of the Dartmouth Council on Aging, the Norma Vaz Center at Smith Mills Christian Congregational Church, Dartmouth and the American Legion Post 166, Fairhaven. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, horseracing and crazy bingo at Hathaway Manor.
Survivors include a daughter: Cynthia L. Kress of N. Dartmouth; and a granddaughter: Heidi L. Glynn and her husband Kevin of Yarmouth Port, MA.
She was sister of the late Ralph Mosher and Clifton H. Mosher, Jr.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Wednesday 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Friends Cemetery, Dartmouth.
