Mary J. “Jackie” Smith, age 76, died at the Yalobusha County General Hospital in Water Valley, MS on September 13, 2008. She was born July 16, 1932 in Water Valley, MS to the late Mary Littleton Britt. She was retired from Holley Automotive.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 from 5 to 7 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. The funeral service will be held in the Henry Chapel at Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2008. The committal service will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
She is survived by her daughter, Claudia Smith Anthony and husband Mark of Water Valley, MS and a son, James Alexander Smith and wife Sue of Seattle, WA.
Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Hubert P. Britt.
