J. D. Ring, 72 of Summerville, husband of Carol D. Ring, died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the residence.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to EAA Chapter 91, 2751 North East Douglas Street, Lee’s Summit, Missouri 64064
Mr Ring was born January 31, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Ivan and Dorothy Oliver Ring. He attended the University of Missouri in Columbia and the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He served in the United States Air Force and was a Corporate Pilot for Jay’s Truck Driving Schools. He was also a vocational education teacher in the Kansas City school system. He was a member of Old Fort Baptist Church.
