Mary Jewel Batts Shearron, 89, Clarksville, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at Montgomery Care & Rehab. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Sunday at Will Smith Cemetery ,Cheap Hill with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born in Henrietta, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Homer Batts. She was preceded in death by her husband William B. Shearron,Sr. and one daughter Dixie S. Weems. She retired from Sears where she worked in commerical sales.She was member of Sango United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son Ben Shearron(Sandra) of Clarksville, one brother Phil Batts of Ashland City, one sister Patsy White of New Mexico.three grandchildren Dawn Crow(Bryan) of Clarksville, Shearon Hales(Pat) of Columbia,TN, Jim Weems(Tammy) of Clarksville and two great grandchildren.
