Blazer, Eleanor “Tarny”
Eleanor “Tarny” Blazer, 63, of Summerville, wife of William H. “Bill” Blazer, died Thursday afternoon, September 11, 2008 at the residence.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 15, 2008 at 9 o’clock at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Avenue Summerville, SC. Burial will be at a later date in Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville. Friends may call at the church this Sunday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406.
Mrs. Blazer was born April 21, 1945 in Lentz, Austria, daughter of the late Nicolai and Olga Tarnowieckyi. She attended schools in Missouri. She was a Registered Nurse and worked for the Coastal Center of SC and for the Dorchester County Mental Retardation Board. She was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church.
