Lyndeborough, NH- Gary A. Hatem, 55, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack NH surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lawrence, MA to Albert and Lorraine (Antoon) Hatem, Gary was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 1971 .
For many years Gary worked for the US Postal Service as a postal supervisor. He began working in Lawrence and then worked in Manchester , NH and Hudson NH, where he retired in 2006. Prior to working for the postal service, Gary worked with his father at Hatem’s Auto Body in Methuen. Gary enjoyed the outdoors immensely, whether it be kayaking, skiing, snow shoeing or hiking with his dogs. He was also an avid bike rider, and did charity races for the diabetes foundation.
Gary is survived by his wife of 27 years, Deborah A. (Ebert) Hatem, their son Justin and his wife Danielle R. Hatem, three sisters Jean Dinati and her husband Dan, Gail Torla and her husband Bill, Joan Hatem- Roy and her husband Jack and one precious grandchild, Rebecca M. Hatem as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and Friends may call on Sunday, September 14th from 3-7 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen, MA. A Funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 15 at 11 AM at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen.
