Conway, John P. “Sonny” of Westwood, formerly of Roslindale, died peacefully on September 10, 2008. Age 84. Beloved husband of 61 years to Helen (McGuire) Conway. Loving father of Susan and her husband Richard Joyce of Norwood and Patrick Conway of Dedham. Loving brother of Doris Mendell of CA, Robert Conway of South Boston, Charles Conway of Hyde Park and the late Joan Mulry of Roslindale. Proud grandfather of five, Sean, Michael, Shannon, Erin, and Richard. Great grandfather of Colin, Brendan, and Katelyn Fay, Ryan Joyce, Nolan Joyce, and Timothy Mohan.
Funeral from the Holden Dunn & Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Monday September 15, at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 2 – 6 PM. Interment in The Massachusetts National Cemetery at 12:45 PM.
