Obituary

LEICESTER: Amelia R. (Lileikis) Pucilauskas, 91, of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, died Wednesday, Sept. 10 at Notre Dame Long Term Care Center in Worcester after a brief illness.
She was the wife of John A. Pucilauskas who died in 1993. She leaves a daughter Amelia L. Koziak and her husband Richard of Leicester, two grand children David R. Koziak and Amelia D. Klunk and two great grand children Alexander A. and Adrianna R. Klunk all of Leicester, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son John P. Pucilauskas of San Francisco in 2001 and her brother Vytantas Lileikis.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Walter and Amelia (Budvitis) Lileikis. She was very proud of her Lithuanian heritage. She graduated from Leicester High School in 1935 and later the Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. She enjoyed music and playing the piano, knitting, crochet and gardening.
Mrs. Pucilauskas was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the former Worcester County Hospital in Boylston and previously at Hahnemann Hospital in Worcester before retiring.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13 from the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 759 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leicester Food Pantry, c/o St. Joseph's Church, 759 Main St., Leicester, 01524.
