Nancy P. (Sheehan) Gilmore, 53 of Cumberland, Rhode Island and formerly of West Springfield, Mass. and Bellingham died September 10 in Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She was the wife of Michael Gilmore.
Born West Springfield on July 15, 1955, the daughter of Walter and Lillian (Kuras) Sheehan of West Springfield, Mrs. Gilmore was raised in West Springfield and had lived in Bellingham for several years prior to moving to Cumberland 9 years ago.
Mrs. Gilmore was a graduate of Boston College with a BA in Education and Spanish and also received her Master Degree from Cambridge College.
Mrs. Gilmore had taught at Franklin High School for over 25 years.
She enjoyed cats.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her brothers, Robert Sheehan of Chicopee and David Sheehan of West Springfield.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 13 in St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin.
