Manchester-Cecile G. Laliberte, 84, died September 11, 2008 at Hanover Hill Health Care after a brief illness.
She was born in Racine, PQ, Canada on March 9, 1924 the daughter of Lucien and Angelina (Poudrette) Phaneuf and had been a resident of Manchester most of her life.
She held membership in the St. Anne Sodality of St. Jean Baptiste Parish and the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxillary 1624.
She was predeceased by her husband Roger E. Laliberte June 5, 1994.
She enjoyed crocheting , making afghans. She made rosary beads for missions all over the world. An avid reader and card player.
Members of her family include 2 sons, Donald Laliberte of Bedford, David Laliberte of Manchester, 3 daughters Irene Sarette of Hooksett, Claudette Laliberte and Diane Laliberte both of Manchester, 10 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren, one sister Simonne Deshais of Manchester and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES:Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 676 Montgomery St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM in Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelley St.. Burial will be in St. Augustin Cemetery.
