Helen V. Martynowski, 92 years of Brockton, died September 9, 2008 at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. She had been a lifelong resident of Brockton, daughter of the late Maryan and Rozalia (Tamkun) Martynowski. Helen was a 1934 graduate of Brockton High School. She retired in 1983 from the Registry of Voters Office in Brockton after 10 years and had previously been employed at Commonwealth Shoe Company in Whitman for 35 years as a perforator. She enjoyed traveling, bingo, gardening and cooking.
Helen was the aunt of four nephews, Walter Martynowski of Brockton, Robert Martynowski of Vermont, Edward and Brian Martynowski both of Marshfield, her five nieces, Rosemary Chaplin of Bourne, Marion (Diane) Arrighi of Bridgewater, Ann Johnson, Karen Kelly and Susan Martynowski all of Marshfield. Also survived by her sister in law Beverly Martynowski of Marshfield and many grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte123) Brockton Friday at 11am. Visitation prior to the service 10-11am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
