Andre N. Hebert formerly of Cumberland, died Sunday at St. Antoine Residence in N. Smithfield. He was the husband of the late Marie-Ange (Lambert) Hebert to whom he was married for 60 years. He was born on October 30, 1911, in Woonsocket, a son of the late Felix and Marie-Louise (Lamothe) Hebert. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. He owned and operated Hebert Redimix Concrete for twenty eight years retiring in 1974.
He is survived by a son Marcel “Mike” Hebert and his wife Suzanne of Cumberland, five grandchildren; Andre M. Hebert, Pierre D. Hebert, Anne-Marie Gesualdi, Charles T. Hebert and Nicole E. Hebert, and six great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Frank, Joseph, Felix, and Augustine Hebert, Rose Berard, Marie-Louise Moyen, Sr. Philomene Hebert, Blanche Hebert, and Marguerite Stappas.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Antoine Residence Chapel, 10 Rhodes Ave., N. Smithfield. Burial with Military Honors will be held in Precious Blood Cemetery.
