WORCESTER-Dorothy M. (Fohey) Sullivan, 93, of Worcester, died Saturday, September 6th the Jewish Healthcare Center. Her husband, Sylvester F. Sullivan, died in 1994. She leaves her daughter, Dorothy M. Castell of Rochdale; a sister, Barbara Belanger of Holden; two grandsons, Heath Castell and his wife Rochelle of Worcester and Shawn Castell of Rochdale; and a niece, Sheila Brown of New Hampshire. Her sister, Janet Raymond predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of John G. and Katherine (O’Connor) Fohey. Mrs. Sullivan was employed by Worcester Gas and Light Company for 13 years as a supervisor and by Libbey Foods for 8 years as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
The funeral is Tuesday, September 9th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, September 8th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
