Robert Francis Garraty, Sr., 72, died peacefully at his home on August 6th.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan J. Garraty, his son Robert F. Garraty, Jr. and his wife Ellen, his son William Garraty, his son Dennis Garraty and his daughter Cynthia Garraty Meandzjia and her husband Boris; his grandchildren Christopher Garraty, Brian Garraty, Alex Meandzija and Petar Meandzija and 1 great-granddaughter Corrin.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved cousins Father Bradley McGovern and Thomas McGovern as well as his brother-in-law, Clyde Callejo and his daughters, Robin Callejo and Aimee Elkins.
Bob served as a paratrooper in the Army 11th Airborne division out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky from 1953 through 1956 and served a tour of duty in Korea. He was employed with Pfizer, Inc. for 34 years retiring in 1993.
There will be no visiting hours and the funeral service will be private.
