Bratcher, Delmer, 91, of Louisville passed away Friday September 5, 2008.
He was native of Ohio Co., KY., a U. S. Air Force veteran of WWII, a member of Arcade Baptist Church, where he played on the church’s dartball team. A retired metal fabricator for Naval Ordinance He was also a member of Parkland Masonic Lodge #638, and had been active in his son’s youth baseball team, umpiring, and a avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Alice F. (Goins) Bratcher; a son, Robert E. Bratcher Sr., (Jerretta); two sisters, Doris Robards, and Sue Reed (David); a grandson, Robert E. Bratcher II, (Dana); 42 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be 2:00 -8:00 Tuesday.
