Anthony F. Sirrico, 55, of Mattapoisett died April 1, 2003 at home after a brief illness.
He was the husband of Carolyn J. (Paulino) Sirrico and son of Florence (Keck) Sirrico of Onset and the late Fred Sirrico.
Mr. Sirrico was born in Plymouth and lived in Wareham most of his life before moving to Nantucket where he lived for 21 years. He retired to Mattapoisett in 1999.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Mattapoisett.
Mr. Sirrico was formerly employed as a mechanic for the Department of Public Works on Nantucket.
He was an avid hunter and golfer.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; 2 daughters, Angela Sirrico and Toni Ann Sirrico, both of Framingham; 1 step-son, Todd Bowden, and his wife Karen, of Burlington, MA; 2 step-daughters, Shari Dant, and her husband Bronson, of New Bedford and Stephanie Bowden of Providence; 2 brothers, Michael Sirrico, and his wife Gail, of Buzzards Bay, Joseph Sirrico of Onset; a sister, Sally Perry of Buzzards Bay; 8 grandchildren, Daniel Sirrico, Casey Lyn Sirrico, Joseph Sirrico, Eternity Sirrico, Chelsea Dant, Brooke Dant, Alexis Dant and James Dant; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett Saturday, April 5th at 12 Noon. His family will receive guests on Saturday from 11AM to 12 Noon prior to the service.
