CARTER, ROBERT S. "BOB," 62, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Sts Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was the proprietor of Ken Bowl and Dixie Bowl, a member of Resurrection Episcopal Church, and Louisville Bowler's Hall of Fame. He was the president of KY State USBC Youth, president of the LMPD advisory board 3rd division, past president of the Greater Louisville Bowling Proprietors Assoc.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Carter, and a grandson, Brian.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Michaelyn (Uhrinek) Carter; three children, twins William "Bill' Carter, Jessica Padgett (Kenneth), and Robert "Rob" Carter (Tammy); his father, William D. Carter (Thelma);an uncle, George Carter; and five grandchildren, Bradlee, Brent, Brandon, Christopher, and Matthew.
Funeral services will be held noon Friday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in the Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
