Mrs. Teresa DiDonato, age 91 of Medford MA, died Tuesday in Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a brief illness. She is the wife of Ralph DiDonato with whom she shared more than 60 years of marriage.
Mrs. DiDonato was born in Boston, daughter of the late Antonio and Carolina (Palmieri) Delpo and is a graduate of East Boston High School, class of 1935. A very family minded woman, she loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She also loved to travel and was an avid reader.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons: Ralph DiDonato of NV, Joseph DiDonato and his wife Ree Cashman of Swampscott. Granddaughters, Christine and Lisa DiDonato of CA. and Alexander DiDonato of Swampscott. Sister of the late John Delpo, and Tina Scandone.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday 8:30am. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church, 174 Humphrey St., Swampscott, at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Community Mausoleum, Everett.
