Doris D. (Shea) Meagher, beloved wife of the late, Thomas F. Meagher, died on Monday, September 1, 2008, at her home surrounded by her family. Doris lived in Stoneham, MA for over forty years before moving to Londonderry, NH. She worked at the Woburn office for the Massachusetts Department of Employment Security until her retirement.
She leaves her children, Karen Kelly and her husband, Dave, Linda McKenzie and her husband, Bill, Leslie Taylor, Thomas Meagher and his wife, Nancy and Richard Meagher. Surviving also include, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Dick Taylor.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 4-8 pm at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday at 10am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave, Derry, NH. Interment followed at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Peabody, MA.
