WORCESTER-Helen G. (Cummings) Sullivan died, Monday, September 1st in Holy Trinity Nursing Home. Her husband of 50 years, John F. Sullivan died in 1982.
Helen was born in Worcester and worked for New England Telephone Company, Worcester Bus Company and Harr Ford before retiring. She was a long time member of Blessed Sacrament Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, but most of all her family and friends.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Patricia wife of James Moynihan of Worcester; two sons, Kevin M. and his wife Ellen of Hinckley, Ohio and John F., Jr. and his wife Carol of Paxton, MA.; a sister Alice Whitney of Chambersburg, PA.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by a daughter, Maureen Ahearn, four sisters, Grace, Mary, Madeline and Phyllis and two brothers George and Paul.
Calling hours will be held at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., on Friday, September 12, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Activities Fund at Holy Trinity Nursing Home, 300 Barber Avenue, Worcester, MA 01606.
