Jean M. Gobeille 75, of 1 Main St. Woonsocket, died Monday, August 25th at home. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Raymond and Marie (Blaine) Gobeille. Mr. Gobeille served in the US Navy for twenty two years and was a Veteran of the Korean War. After his retirement he worked as a caretaker for Mt St. Rita’s in Cumberland. Mr. Gobeille was a member of the American Legion, the VFW Post #7, and the Cercle Laurier.
He is survived by a son John E. Gobeille of Fairfax, VT., and was the brother of Raymond Gobeille.
A Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 -11:00 am in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket. Burial with Military honors will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery.
