Mr. Henry F. “Hank” Mros, Sr., of Taunton died Sunday, August 31 in Morton Hos-
pital following a brief illness. He was the husband of Helen L. (McCaffrey) Mros.
He was born 84 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Sidney and Sadie
(Korzenowski) Mros. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city
resident.. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Mros served in the European
Theatre, where he participated in the D-Day invasion at Normandy, as well as in the
Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes, and also saw action in the Rhineland campaign.
He enjoyed cooking, gardening and vacationing with his family at Walt Disney World
in Florida.

1 daughter: Helen Follette and her husband, Gary of Taunton
3 grandchildren: Michael Follette, Nancy Cloutier and Henry F. Mros, III
4 great grandchildren
A brother and sister and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting
