Olivia J. "Livvy" (Delgado) Silva, 73, of New Bedford died March 30, 2003 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was the daughter of the late John D. and Joanna (Almeida) Delgado.
Mrs. Silva was born in Fall River and lived in New Bedford most of her life.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Mrs. Silva was presently employed as a teachers aide at Ashley School in New Bedford and had previously been a teachers aide at the Lower Deck of the Paul Rodrigues Building and at Roosevelt Junior High School.
She enjoyed quilting, reading, going to yard sales and furniture refinishing.
Survivors include her son, John M. Silva of Taunton; 2 daughters, Thea L. Correia, and her husband Joseph, of New Bedford and Marguerite J. Silva-Pinto, and her husband Michael, of East Freetown; a brother, Antonio Delgado of Worcester; 3 sisters, Mary Lou Green and Angelina Riley, both of Fall River and Mary Richardson of Islip, New York; 3 grandchildren, Brennan Correia, Derek Correia and Felicia Pinto; her former husband, Theophilio M. Silva of New Bedford; many nieces and nephews, many close friends and loved ones.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Delgado.
