SANDERS, VIDA MARIE, 78, of Louisville, went home to celebrate life with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 26, 2008.
Vida is a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church and was the greatest waitress for 30+ years at the Chef House Restaurant and Mr. Lou's Country Cottage Diner.
Vida is remembered by her four loving children, Michael Simmons (Diane), Gail Graham (Jim) and Tammie Martin (Mark), of Louisville and Patricia Rehm, of Cocoa Beach, FL. She is also loved by her seven grandchildren, Patrick, Brian, Kim, Zach, Luke, Ashley and Tyler; and four great-grandchildren, Drew, Parker, Christopher and Mason; two sisters, Christine and Eva; and friend, George Sanders.
The celebration of Vida's life will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with her final resting place at Evergreen Cemetery, on Preston Highway.
Visitation will be held noon - 8 p.m. Thursday and before the service starting at 10 a.m. on Friday.
